Sweet Sugarplum!

This pretty card showcases another one of our upcoming new In Colors!  The lighter color on the outer flower petals is stamped with Sweet Sugarplum...love these new colors.  They will be available in our brand new catalog coming out on June 1.

Only a couple of weeks left until we can order all of the new goodies!  Let me know if you'd like a new catalog of your own.  I have a few extras to send out...free with a $10 purchase!

New Catalog is on it's way!

I am SO excited!  The new Catalog will be here any day now for my current customers and you all will be able to view it online and order from it when it goes live on June 1st!

Here is a little preview of two of the gorgeous new In Colors for this coming year.  Can you tell which ones they are?  That gorgeous green is called Emerald Envy and the beautiful peachy color is my favorite...Flirty Flamingo!

Stay tuned for my next post...I have another card and 3-D craft that use a couple more of the beautiful new In Colors!

A Big Batch of Cute Cards!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  :)

Today, I have a whole group of lovely cards to share.  Enjoy!

Isn't this just the cutest diecut?  Using the BigShot, punch out this cute Happy Birthday sentiment...easy as pie (or cake?) and it looks so professional!
This one would be so cute for a neighbor gift of cookies or you could even make it into a bookmark!
Another version of one of my favorite stamp sets.  This plane actually 'spins' in the air...using a brad in the center!
Here's a super cute bookmark or tag!
A nice Spring Thank You Note!
Here is the beautiful Heart die.  This would be so perfect for Birthday or Mother's Day...just leave off the Be Mine sentiment!

I hope you've enjoyed these cards.  Be sure to click through to my website if you're interested in purchasing any of the products used.

Happy Stamping!  :)

Simple and Sweet!

Here is one of my favorite new Stamp Sets from the new Sale-a-Bration free stamp catalog. (you get a free stamp or other item for every $50 purchase!)  This set is so bold and bright and it's so easy to make it look good.  Here, I chose some of the new In Colors for my flowers.  This stamp set is called Botanicals for You.  I embossed the sentiment in Basic Black (can you see the shine?) and simply stamped the other colors randomly.  Done!

I hope you're enjoying this February.  Even though it's still cold here, I'm starting to see the tulips poke their little sprouts out of the ground...Spring is on it's way!  I'll be back soon with a beautiful masculine design!

Hoping for Spring

Here is my wish for Spring to come, LOL.  I have had it with the rain.  I'm ready to see the sun.  This morning, I looked up and saw some orange coming through the window.  I thought there was something wrong.  (it was raining, of course).  It turned out to be the sun coming up, peaking through the clouds, LOL.  It's gone now, but I made this card to remind me that it will be back!  :)
I borrowed this design from Heather Heroldt.  I used the Mixed Bunch stamp set for the flowers and punched them out with the new Blossom Punch.  The leaves are made of Lucky Limeade, punched using the 5-Petal Flower Punch.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, using the Word Window Punch and Modern Label Punch, popped up on dimensionals.  I used Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait Ink, stamped off once for the lighter shaded flower.  I love this Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper and Brads...so pretty and bright.  Well, our daffodils are blooming, so I know Spring is on it's way, I just wish it would hurry up!  :)

Here I switched the colors around a bit, using Poppy Parade for the main flower, then stamping off once for the one underneath.  The top flower on both cards is popped up on dimensionals.

I hope you're all having a great week.  We're all back to school and work here after a lovely relaxing Spring Break.  We actually got two days of sun during our break and put them to good use, too!  I feel refreshed and ready to go again.

Sale on the Stampin' Up Clearance Rack!

Stampin' Up is having a Clearance Rack sale!  Click on my Online Store button at the top of my blog and then go to the Clearance Rack at the left of the page...wow!

Here are a few of the goodies I noticed at first glance:

Stop on by and check out these and more at super prices.  :)

So, today I wanted to share a card I made at a Stamp Camp using Glossy Paper.  I just love how brilliant the colors show up on this shiny paper.  The sun is simply a punched circle and the flowers are stamped twice, then cut out and popped up on dimensionals.  The background is sponged in blue.

This card uses a fun technique called two-step stamping, where you stamp the background of the image first, in this case solid pink, then again with another stamp showing more detail using a darker pink.  Fun!

Flower Garden Pastels Embossing

Here is a quick and easy card that uses the new embossing folder, Flower Garden.  I used Stampin' Pastels to color over the embossing and Pumpkin Pie and Poppy Parade markers for the sentiment (from the Full of Life set) on a Pumpkin Pie base.

Watercolor Flowers

OK, I love this card, BUT...I totally messed up the butterfly, lol.  I made this at Stamp Camp where we were supposed to use glitter, but my butterfly was still wet from watercoloring with my AquaPen and ink...did you know you can't put glitter on wet paper?  Well, you can't.  Or this happens.  LOL.  Oh well, you get the idea.  Also I forgot to add his little midsection with his antennae.  Whoo boy, poor butterfly!

Anyhow, I love this technique.  I tore a piece of scratch paper and held it down while sponging over the stamped flowers from the Flower Fest stamp set.  I used those beautiful new colors...Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo.  The sentiment is from the Happy Greetings set.  This was very quick and easy (well, minus the butterfly, ha!), but I love the effect.  I hope you like it, too.

Summery Surprise

I'm going to keep posting Summer cards in the hope that summer will actually arrive, lol.  Here is a fun card that we made at Stamp Camp using the Bold Blossom stamp set from the new Summer Mini Catalog...so cute!  I used that pretty Sweet & Sour DSP with half of a Top Note Die in the Big Shot...love that glossy paper!  Poppy Parade is my background paper and the stem is stamped with Pear Pizzazz ink.  Isn't the new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch flower cute?  It's raised with a dimensional and topped with a gold brad.  A Pumpkin Pie ribbon tops it all off.

Summery Pastels

Here's another card I made at my upline's house with her goodies from the new Summer Mini Catalog.  I used a pretty background of Tangerine Tango paper, added some Whisper White with the Flower Garden Embossing Folder and used Stampin' Pastels to embellish.  The sentiment, from the Full of Life stamp set, is stamped using Poppy Parade and Tangerine Tango markers.  Easy and fun!

A Floral Hello!

We're finally having some lovely Spring weather...I'm so happy!  I recently got a chance to play with many of the fun goodies from the New Summer Mini Catalog that just came out!  Here is one of my creations (idea borrowed from my upline):

This cards uses the cute new stamp set Flower Fest with the five petal punch with some Hello's from the Happy Greetings set.  The background is Peach Parfait with a Poppy Parade mat.  I love the pretty daffodil Delight ribbon at the top.  I also used the Scallop Trim border punch and a little red glitter.

Here is a card I made for a swap, using one of my very favorite DSPs, Sunny Garden.  I used Daffodil Delight for the background and Peach Parfait for the mat.  The flower is stamped in Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz with the Cottage Garden stamp set and the sentiment comes from the Short & Sweet set.  I added a Poppy Parade ribbon.  I can't wait for Spring!

A Feminine Thank You Card

Here's a card I made using that pretty DSP Lap of Luxury.  At first I thought Concord Crush (purple) was too dark, but against the Pretty in Pink paper, it looks more like a true purple.

Recipe:
Stamps:  Cottage Garden, Short & Sweet
Paper:  Lap of Luxury DSP, Concrod Crush, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla
Ink:  Concord Crush, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories:  Versamark, Pretty in Pink 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch

Here is a card I made a while ago using some pretty retired paper and the cute bird cage stamp.  This stamp set is retired, but there is a new one I like better.  This older stamp was hard to get color on the bird, while leaving the cage black.  The new set has the bird and cage separate...much easier to color!
