A Big Batch of Cute Cards!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  :)

Today, I have a whole group of lovely cards to share.  Enjoy!

Isn't this just the cutest diecut?  Using the BigShot, punch out this cute Happy Birthday sentiment...easy as pie (or cake?) and it looks so professional!
This one would be so cute for a neighbor gift of cookies or you could even make it into a bookmark!
Another version of one of my favorite stamp sets.  This plane actually 'spins' in the air...using a brad in the center!
Here's a super cute bookmark or tag!
A nice Spring Thank You Note!
Here is the beautiful Heart die.  This would be so perfect for Birthday or Mother's Day...just leave off the Be Mine sentiment!

I hope you've enjoyed these cards.  Be sure to click through to my website if you're interested in purchasing any of the products used.

Happy Stamping!  :)

Valentine's Day Beauty!

I'm really enjoyed this new Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits Die.  As long as I use my new Big Shot Die Brush, I have no problem getting it to come out perfectly!

I used the beautiful Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper, along with Rose Red (for the flowers, also punched out with the Die) and Mint Macaron.  I added a few pretty Pearls and that gorgeous new Pool Party Glitter Ribbon to glam it up!

New Catalog...Saleabration!...and Valentines Day!

It's finally here!  The gorgeous new Spring Catalog is out and Sale-a-bration has started!  For every $50 you order, you get a free product from the Sale-a-Bration brochure.  So excited!  This catalog is absolutely fabulous.

I was in a swap (already!) and this is one of the cards I made using the new Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Die...isn't it gorgeous?  You do need a couple of fun extra products to really make this die work well.  One is the Precision Base Plate, which makes these intricate dies cut really well (even so, you should run it back and forth a few times).  The other is the brand new Big Shot Die Brush.  This tool is amazing!  Don't be afraid to rough it up a little as you run it back and forth over your die.  It will get all of the little paper chads out.  So easy!

I used the beautiful Whisper White Organza Ribbon and the scrumptious Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper with some pretty Rose Red paper.

I hope you're enjoying this beautiful winter weather.  We had a snowfall the other day!  It was fun because it is unusual for us and everything was cancelled, so we just got to go out and enjoy a free day!

Jingle All the Way!

Here is a cute set of cards that uses the Jingle All the Way stamp set, which comes bundled along with the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies.  These edgelits are really neat and easy to use with your Big Shot.  This card uses the Circle Framelits to create a circle behind which the town and moon can be seen.  Silver Glimmer Paper stars are punched from the Confetti Stars Border Punch.  Pretty White Glitter Ribbon and Silver Cording add extra bling!

This card uses the famous (and hard to find!) Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to create beautiful birch trees.  Use a sponge with just a tad of Basic Grey Ink to lightly shade the trees after embossing.  Silver Cording is used to make a bow next to the Jingle All the Way sentiment.  The sleigh is punched out of Real Red and Basic Black cardstock, using the Sleigh Ride Edgelit Dies,  to create a shadow effect.

The background of this card is created with the pretty Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to give the look of snow.  All three of the Sleigh Ride Edgelits are used in this card, as they form the hills and valleys in this snowy town.  The sentiment is stamped before embossing and the sparkly Winter Wonderland Embellishment is attached with a glue dot or two.

I love using the Big Shot to create cards.  It makes a beautiful card quick and easy and it turns out looking very professional.  I hope these cards give you some inspiration this weekend!

Wonderland!

Here's a really simple card that you can make in just a few minutes using the new Wonderland Stamp Set!  The gorgeous trees are stamped with the ink full-strength, then stamped again to give that far away look.  So pretty!

This card uses the same stamp set with Whisper White Craft Ink to give a glorious snowy effect.  The Sleigh Ride Edgelits make up the pretty little houses in the town.  The saying comes from To You & Yours Too Stamp Set.

Isn't this card lovely?  The trees are stamped with Mossy Meadow and Old Olive.  The Designer Series Paper is from the Merry Moments Paper Stack in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  A little strip of Whisper White Seam Binding Ribbon fancies it up a bit.

I think this is my last set with a Thanksgiving card in it!  Next post will be all Christmas! (or mostly, haha!)  Enjoy, and I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends and family and pets this week.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Scenes!

This is one of my favorite sets from the new Holiday Mini Catalog, Happy Scenes.  The cute Hearth & Home Thinlit Die is just perfect for all of the holidays.  This card showcases Halloween, but without the Boo! and the spider, it turns into a Thanksgiving card!

This card uses the same stamp as the above card, only it also includes the tree!  And the very popular Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder creates a beautiful background.  A strip of White Glitter Ribbon sparkles it up a bit!

This gorgeous card uses the beautiful tree scene from the Happy Scenes stamp set, along with the Heart & Home Thinlits Die.  The Decorative Dots Embossing Folder and a wide strip of Silver Glimmer Paper add some beautiful texture to the background.

Grateful for Thanksgiving

Here are a few Thanksgiving cards to inspire you this season.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.  I love this Thankful Forest Friends stamp set.  It coordinates so well with the Into the Woods Designer Series Paper.  This card adds a little Gold Glimmer paper behind the Mossy Meadow, which is embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  A wooden leaf from the Into the Woods Elements set finishes it off.

This elegant card uses the pretty Gold Foil sheets, which are cut out with the Ovals Collection Framelits.  The strip behind the ovals is Black Glimmer paper and the sentiment (from the Thankful Forest Friends set) is embossed with Black Embossing Powder.  The Very Vanilla background is embossed using the new Elegant Dots Embossing Folder.  The bow is tied with the Gold Cording Trim from the new Holiday Mini catalog.

This pretty card uses the same stamp set and DSP as the other two cards, but also uses the Lots of Labels Framelits to cut out the sentiment.  The Rich Razzleberry bow is tied with the new Into the Woods Ribbon from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I hope you enjoyed these cards and got some ideas for your own Thanksgiving cards this year.  Happy Thanksgiving!

A Halloween Treat Holder!

This cute new Pillow Box thinlit die makes a great Halloween Treat Holder!
This little Owl is from the Howl-o-ween Treat stamp set and is punched out with the matching Boo to You Framelits Die.  I love how a little bit of a Spider Web Doily peeks out from under him!  The DSP is the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper.

The little guy's eyes are made out of Silver Glimmer paper and a Pearl Jewel colored with black marker.  A thin strip of Black Glimmer paper finishes this Treat holder off!

Happy Halloween!

Witches' Night!

Today, I'm going to share a few more spooky Halloween cards.  This is a very cute set, which can be fun or scary, depending on how you accessorize it.

I love the colors on this card and the little bats flying up from the spooky sign.  A touch of Black Glimmer paper adds a cool highlight!

Here's another one that uses that cute Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper, as well as a strip of Black Glimmer paper.  This one's a bit spookier!

Here's the scary version of this set!  Rich Razzleberry is sponged over the spider webs and Old Olive gives the raven a spooky look!  A strip of Rich Razzleberry, embossed with the Chevron Embossing Folder adds a nice touch, along with a soft highlighting of gold ink daubed here and there.

The really neat thing about this whole set is that you don't have to cut the signs out...there's a Framelit set for them...the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies.  Happy Halloween!

Sparkly Seasons!

Today I'm going to share another set of cute cards from the new Holiday Catalog.  This set is called Sparkly Seasons and can be used all year round!
Isn't this just adorable?  I love the scary background Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The Happy Haunting Washi Tape looks great behind the Seasonal Frames Thinlit die (Spooky!).

Here's a card that can be used for Christmas or Birthday.  The Ballerina twirls prettily on the Silver embossed base.  A touch of Dazzling Details adds sparkle to her tutu and a Rhinestone completes the look.

Here is the Winter version of this set!  The cute snowman is colored with Stampin' Markers and Dazzling Details.  I love the snowy background of the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The Seasonal Frames Thinlit "snow" die cut is punched out of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.  A strip of Season of Cheer Washi Tape finishes it off!

I love seeing how one stamp set can be used to create so many different looks!

Be My Valentine

This is my sweet little Greeting Card Kids stamp set girl.

I love this set and I'm glad I got this pretty Pink Pirouette Two-Tone Ribbon to use with it.  I used the new More Amore DSP for the background and my new 2 1/2" Circle Punch for my little girl.  The scalloped circle in Pool Party was made with my Perfect Pennants Die.  I love adding texture to the background with embossing folders.  This one is the Vintage Wallpaper.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Halloween Cobwebs

Today I have a fun Halloween card that I made for a swap.  I just love the Spider Web Embossing Folder!  I used Concord Crush for the background and sponging and Pumpkin Pie and Lucky Limeade for the base.  I sponged around my 'spider' in Lucky Limeade as well.
I used just one strand of Baker's Twine for my 'web.'  Happy Halloween!

Life is a Bowl of Cherries...

Well, apparently I got a bit behind in posting my Summer cards after my Dad passed away, so here are a couple that use a DSP that I really love...the Domestic Goddess DSP, LOL, what a name!  The stamp set is the Cherish Friendship set, which is so good for coloring, which I love to do.  Aren't these colors pretty?  This paper coordinates with the new In Colors...Pool Party, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight.  Fun!
This second card is the same, but with another set of papers from the 'Domestic Goddess' Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack.  Isn't the new Ruffled Ribbon pretty?
I used my Stampin' Markers to color my bowl of cherries (notice I changed the color of the bowl?)  I embossed the background with my Perfect Polka Dots Embossing folder.  I think embossing really adds to the feel of the card...I'm into texture!  :)

I like these cards because I can use them for most any occasion...versatile and cheery!

Here are the cards I made for my first Demo swap.  I used the Big Shot Top Note die (my first time using it!), the polka dot embossing folder with the Big Shot also to emboss the whisper white paper as my base.  I used the soft subtles DSP to make my "quilt" pattern.  That was really fun to do!  Lastly, I added a pretty bow using that white taffeta ribbon (this ribbon is very easy to work with and makes into a bow easily) and a birthday sentiment using my new scallop oval and oval punches.  The main colors are pirouette pink and certainly celery.
"Quilts" ready to go through the Big Shot Top Note die.
Ready to be put together!
These were some cute little boxes I made using the matchbox die for the Big Shot and a pack of Brights 12 X 12 paper.  They were so much fun to make!
I made about 26 of these, I think, for a swap...whew!
