Sweet Sugarplum!

This pretty card showcases another one of our upcoming new In Colors!  The lighter color on the outer flower petals is stamped with Sweet Sugarplum...love these new colors.  They will be available in our brand new catalog coming out on June 1.

Only a couple of weeks left until we can order all of the new goodies!  Let me know if you'd like a new catalog of your own.  I have a few extras to send out...free with a $10 purchase!

A Big Batch of Cute Cards!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  :)

Today, I have a whole group of lovely cards to share.  Enjoy!

Isn't this just the cutest diecut?  Using the BigShot, punch out this cute Happy Birthday sentiment...easy as pie (or cake?) and it looks so professional!
This one would be so cute for a neighbor gift of cookies or you could even make it into a bookmark!
Another version of one of my favorite stamp sets.  This plane actually 'spins' in the air...using a brad in the center!
Here's a super cute bookmark or tag!
A nice Spring Thank You Note!
Here is the beautiful Heart die.  This would be so perfect for Birthday or Mother's Day...just leave off the Be Mine sentiment!

I hope you've enjoyed these cards.  Be sure to click through to my website if you're interested in purchasing any of the products used.

Happy Stamping!  :)

Sky is the Limit!

If you were lucky enough to purchase this neat Masculine Stamp Set (well, not purchase, since it was one of the sets you can choose for free with a $50 purchase), yay for you!  This is one of my favorite new sets.  I used the the amazing World Traveler Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (still available!) on the background and a sheet of DSP from the Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack.  I also embossed the strip of Basic Black with the Chevron Embossing Folder.  Quick, but fun, too!

P.S. If you really didn't get this set (sad for you!), you do have another option.  The Going Global Stamp Set also works perfectly on this card.  :)

Simple and Sweet!

Here is one of my favorite new Stamp Sets from the new Sale-a-Bration free stamp catalog. (you get a free stamp or other item for every $50 purchase!)  This set is so bold and bright and it's so easy to make it look good.  Here, I chose some of the new In Colors for my flowers.  This stamp set is called Botanicals for You.  I embossed the sentiment in Basic Black (can you see the shine?) and simply stamped the other colors randomly.  Done!

I hope you're enjoying this February.  Even though it's still cold here, I'm starting to see the tulips poke their little sprouts out of the ground...Spring is on it's way!  I'll be back soon with a beautiful masculine design!

Your Presents

A quick and easy card that uses the Your Presents stamp set, but would be just as easy to make on your own with DSP or even solid color cardstock and some ribbon or Gold Cording.  The Brick Wall Embossing Folder provides a cute background and the Jolly framelit comes from the Christmas Greetings Thinlits collection.  Fun and quick!

Another simple card created with the Your Presents stamp set and the Red Striped ribbon, along with the Gold Cording.  A strip of Gold Foil adds elegance.  The sentiment is stamped in Gold ink and the Real Red cardstock is punched out with the Scallop Oval punch, one of my favorite punches.

Here's a way to use the same stamp set for a Thank You or Birthday card.  The gift bag uses a Doily and Gold Cording and the background is embossed with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  The sentiment is stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink (give it a few hours to dry!) and hand cut.

I hope you're having fun this weekend preparing for Christmas festivities next week.  We made gingerbread houses this afternoon!  So fun.

Sparkly Seasons!

Today I'm going to share another set of cute cards from the new Holiday Catalog.  This set is called Sparkly Seasons and can be used all year round!
Isn't this just adorable?  I love the scary background Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The Happy Haunting Washi Tape looks great behind the Seasonal Frames Thinlit die (Spooky!).

Here's a card that can be used for Christmas or Birthday.  The Ballerina twirls prettily on the Silver embossed base.  A touch of Dazzling Details adds sparkle to her tutu and a Rhinestone completes the look.

Here is the Winter version of this set!  The cute snowman is colored with Stampin' Markers and Dazzling Details.  I love the snowy background of the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The Seasonal Frames Thinlit "snow" die cut is punched out of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.  A strip of Season of Cheer Washi Tape finishes it off!

I love seeing how one stamp set can be used to create so many different looks!

Concord Crush Blossom Flower

I love this color!  I admit, I thought it was too dark at first, but now I really love it.  I used my new Blossom Flower Punch to create this card along with the Mixed Bunch stamp set.  I think it gives it almost a Dutch Delft look to it.
I was really surprised at how bright the Whisper White Craft Ink came out on the dark purple cardstock.  Craft Ink holds it's true color, but it takes a while to dry completely, so don't touch it right away.  This design was borrowed from Lauri Ingram.  I used the Concord Crush Stitched Poly Ribbon and a dimensional to pop-up the center of the flower (cut out with the 3/4" Circle Punch).  The sentiment is from the Perfectly Penned stamp set.

Just a note, Concord Crush will be retiring in a few months when the new catalog comes out, so if you love it, be sure to get some before then!

Birthday Card for Alzheimer's Dad with lots of Texture

This was a special Birthday card I made for my dad who is an Alzheimer's patient.  He loves to touch (and take apart) cards, so I tried to use as much texture as I could.  I used some retired textured Bermuda Bay (turquoise) paper for the sky and some Certainly Celery striped DSP for the grass.  I used some retired Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon for the dirt (lots of texture here!) and a retired metal star brad (these are really heavy!).  I attached the sentiment with two antique silver brads to look like nails (my dad loved woodworking).  And of course, I included his favorite of all things, a running dog (from the D is for Dog stamp set), stamped in More Mustard, to look like a yellow lab.  I think he liked it.

Happy Birthday!

Here is a special birthday card using the retired tropical set and DSP...so cute and it is getting me ready for Spring!  I used the VersaMark pad to stamp the flowers on the blue paper and markers to color my palm tree stamp.  I added some ribbon, raised my sentiment up on Stampin' Dimensionals and done!
Here are the cards I made for my first Demo swap.  I used the Big Shot Top Note die (my first time using it!), the polka dot embossing folder with the Big Shot also to emboss the whisper white paper as my base.  I used the soft subtles DSP to make my "quilt" pattern.  That was really fun to do!  Lastly, I added a pretty bow using that white taffeta ribbon (this ribbon is very easy to work with and makes into a bow easily) and a birthday sentiment using my new scallop oval and oval punches.  The main colors are pirouette pink and certainly celery.
"Quilts" ready to go through the Big Shot Top Note die.
Ready to be put together!
