Stitched With Cheer!

I just finished a really fun new kit from Stampin' Up!  The Stitched With Cheer project kit was so fun and simple, but I ended up with 18 beautiful cards!  My daughter and I worked on it together.  I love the way everything is included (except the stamp set, but I was able to use a stamp set I already had, so that worked out really well, too!)

Here are the cards we made:
I love all the texture!  That burlap ribbon is so fun and the holly berries are self stick and go on quick!

This one was super simple.  The stitches are easy because all the holes are pre-punched and the gold thread is cut for you, too!  There's even a needle threader and two needles, so you can work with a friend!

This last one was my favorite.  So beautiful and the 3-D effect was so easy to create!  Tiny self-stick pearls complete the snowy look!

I hope you get a chance to try one of these kits.  They are so much fun to create...all the planning is done for you!  Enjoy and Merry Christmas to you all!

Sitting Here...

Hello Friends!  I am so excited to tell you about a wonderful new Swap I am participating in!  I just received a whole batch of beautiful new cards to share with you from our brand new Catalog!

Here is my contribution to the swap...

I really love this new stamp set called Sitting Here.  There's a dog, a cat, and a bird.  And coloring!  What could be better?

I embellished using the new Ruched Ribbon in the gorgeous new In Color, Flirty Flamingo.

The flowers are from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set.

I fussy cut the pillow and puppy, then used my fingers to plump them both up a bit, creating a 3-D effect.

So much fun to play with.  I can't wait to use the other pieces in this cute new stamp set.

Sweet Sugarplum!

This pretty card showcases another one of our upcoming new In Colors!  The lighter color on the outer flower petals is stamped with Sweet Sugarplum...love these new colors.  They will be available in our brand new catalog coming out on June 1.

Only a couple of weeks left until we can order all of the new goodies!  Let me know if you'd like a new catalog of your own.  I have a few extras to send out...free with a $10 purchase!

I am SO excited!  The new Catalog will be here any day now for my current customers and you all will be able to view it online and order from it when it goes live on June 1st!

Here is a little preview of two of the gorgeous new In Colors for this coming year.  Can you tell which ones they are?  That gorgeous green is called Emerald Envy and the beautiful peachy color is my favorite...Flirty Flamingo!

Stay tuned for my next post...I have another card and 3-D craft that use a couple more of the beautiful new In Colors!

A Big Batch of Cute Cards!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  :)

Today, I have a whole group of lovely cards to share.  Enjoy!

Isn't this just the cutest diecut?  Using the BigShot, punch out this cute Happy Birthday sentiment...easy as pie (or cake?) and it looks so professional!
This one would be so cute for a neighbor gift of cookies or you could even make it into a bookmark!
Another version of one of my favorite stamp sets.  This plane actually 'spins' in the air...using a brad in the center!
Here's a super cute bookmark or tag!
A nice Spring Thank You Note!
Here is the beautiful Heart die.  This would be so perfect for Birthday or Mother's Day...just leave off the Be Mine sentiment!

I hope you've enjoyed these cards.  Be sure to click through to my website if you're interested in purchasing any of the products used.

Happy Stamping!  :)

Sky is the Limit!

If you were lucky enough to purchase this neat Masculine Stamp Set (well, not purchase, since it was one of the sets you can choose for free with a $50 purchase), yay for you!  This is one of my favorite new sets.  I used the the amazing World Traveler Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (still available!) on the background and a sheet of DSP from the Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack.  I also embossed the strip of Basic Black with the Chevron Embossing Folder.  Quick, but fun, too!

P.S. If you really didn't get this set (sad for you!), you do have another option.  The Going Global Stamp Set also works perfectly on this card.  :)

Simple and Sweet!

Here is one of my favorite new Stamp Sets from the new Sale-a-Bration free stamp catalog. (you get a free stamp or other item for every $50 purchase!)  This set is so bold and bright and it's so easy to make it look good.  Here, I chose some of the new In Colors for my flowers.  This stamp set is called Botanicals for You.  I embossed the sentiment in Basic Black (can you see the shine?) and simply stamped the other colors randomly.  Done!

I hope you're enjoying this February.  Even though it's still cold here, I'm starting to see the tulips poke their little sprouts out of the ground...Spring is on it's way!  I'll be back soon with a beautiful masculine design!

Valentine's Day Beauty!

I'm really enjoyed this new Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits Die.  As long as I use my new Big Shot Die Brush, I have no problem getting it to come out perfectly!

I used the beautiful Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper, along with Rose Red (for the flowers, also punched out with the Die) and Mint Macaron.  I added a few pretty Pearls and that gorgeous new Pool Party Glitter Ribbon to glam it up!

A Quilted Valentine!

I love this faux-quilting technique.  It's so easy, but looks like a lot of work!  I used the Designer Series Paper from the gorgeous Birthday Bouquet stack.  The background is Rose Red with a layer of Garden Green under the 'quilt.'  I stamped the sentiment from Bloomin' Love stamp set in Garden Green ink and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch.

I added a couple of punched Banners and a Heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  One of my banners was punched from the new shimmery Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper...yum!  I finished it off with a tiny bow using Gold Baker's Twine.  Happy Valentine's Day!
