Countdown to Christmas!

Well, I'm very excited today, because I have just started opening my Advent Calendar that some of my friends from Stampin' Up have sent me.  We each made 24 goodies and swapped them with other stampers.  Here is my first gift!
4 Hershey Nuggets, woohoo!  :)

And since today is actally the second of December, I'll show you what I opened this morning.
It is a cute little TicTac Holder.  Adorable!  Thank you to my secret pal (who is not actually secret...her name was stamped on the backs of my goodies!  So, thank you, Michelle Snow!)

I also wanted to share a cute swap card I received from Nicki Shopis.  Simple and sweet.
Nicki used the new Easy Events Christmas image and glittered up the berries and added some of that pretty Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon.

I'm starting to get excited about Christmas.  I hope you are, too!

I love St. Patrick's Day!

I have to admit I love all of the little holidays as much as the big ones.  St. Patrick's Day is just such a fun holiday and I enjoy celebrating it.  Here is a cute card I got from a gal named "Cathy" in a swap I was in recently.  I just love it!

I just love how she embossed the scallop circle, making it look like it's thicker...so neat!
Here is the recipe:
Stamp Set:  Lucky Shamrock and Afterthoughts
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Daffodil Delight and Garden Green
Ink:  Garden Green
Accessories:  5/8" So Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon, 1/8" Daffodil Delight Taffeta Ribbon, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, 2-Way Glue Pen, Glue Dot, Stampin' Dimensionals
On the inside, she stamped the Lucky You sentiment with a little shamrock next to it!
Thank you, Cathy!
