Day 3 of Convention...Prize Patrol!
Day 3 was filled with a meet up with a good friend, 3 super classes, a yummy lunch and many, many Prize Patrols! Woohoo!
Here is a video of the very exciting last Prize Patrol...a grand prize for 25 lucky demonstrators!
The exciting ending! (just after we all won another free stamp set!)
Convention was fantastic. Later, I will post a SU video compilation of moments from the entire convention wrapped up into a couple of minutes...amazing!

Day 2 of Convention
Day 2 started out with another big swap for me...woohoo! Then the doors opened for General Session. At lunchtime, I had a Halloween swap and then the Stampin' Up Expo opened for classes, Make and Takes, Memento Mall, and more. That evening was Awards Night, followed by the 25th Anniversary Party...with cupcakes, entertainment and carnival games with prizes!
The guy from Guinness World Book examined our cards for the big world record of having sent the most cards from a single location in one day. We won!!
A few of the many cards on display.
This was a neat display of all of the catalogs for the last 25 years.
We had demonstrators from all over the world giving demonstrations during the Expo.
A giant Make and Take session!
A swap!
The card displays were very popular!
A cute Christmas card demonstration during the morning general session.
The massive crowd of all 6,000 of us begins to move from the Main Stage to the Gathering Place
The 25th Anniversary Party begins!
These tables constantly changed color.
Carnival Games!
Here's where we placed our tickets!
Next, I will post pictures of our final day. More swapping, a yummy lunch, and 3 amazing classes. Plus, I was able to meet up with a friend I had been corresponding with for 2 1/2 years!

Convention fun!
Here are some more pictures of my first day at Convention.
This is what we saw when we first entered the main office at Riverton. We then got in line to tour the Stampin' Up Museum.
Here are what the metal plates look like when they make the mold for the rubber stamps...cool!
Some home decor made from dies, punches and Stampin' Up cardstock!
A display that I think I've seen in the catalog!
More home decor in Stampin' Up colors and mega versions of some stamps.
The warehouse! It was really huge and the conveyer belts were all busy working while we were there!
Some of the pretty designs we saw as we walked through the offices.
Thanksgiving ideas!
Here are the MDS photo albums. It was nice to get to look through them. They are very high quality, nice thick paper and solid covers. I also got to see the swatch books. Very neat!
I will post more pictures from Riverton later. Next, I will post some pictures from Opening Session.

Back from Convention!
Whew! What an amazing week! We just got back from a wonderful vacation during which I got to go to the 25th Anniversary Stampin' Up Convention. Wow!
Here are a few pictures.
Here are the swaps I brought with. I participated in 5 organized swaps and brought 5 different kinds of cards (20 each) for open swapping. This was one of the most fun parts of Convention! Oh, and I also brought 50 3-D swaps...the most fun of all!
The bus ride to Riverton (Stampin' Up's main office) Air conditioning...woohoo! I met some nice women from other parts of the country on the way there and the way back.
Here we are! I will post pictures of the inside later.
Convention lobby in the early morning before it starts. I had to get there early for an organized swap.
My first 3-D swap! Isn't it adorable?
My first mega-huge organized swap. This one was for make and takes for a year. We each made 40 of the same card, plus one for the swap hostess. Amazing and fun!
The crowd lining up for opening session. There were 6,000 demonstrators from all over the world attending this year.
It's time to enter Main Stage for Opening Session!
I will post more pictures soon!
