Jack of All Trades

Here is another cute Pumpkin card using the Jack of All Trades stamp set.  Isn't he just adorable?
I got him in a swap from Susan Jensen .  This card also uses the Cobweb Embossing Folder in the background and Susan added a glitter brad to his witchy hat just for fun.  His little 'hair' tendrils are made using one of the stamps as well.  The pumpkin and his face are two stamps, making it easy to use just the face you like.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween Googly Owl

Halloween is such a fun time of year.  I love Fall, with the pretty leaves and crisp breeze.  But before I can show you my Thanksgiving cards,  I have an adorable card to share.  I received this one in a swap from Angie Sherman.  I just love the way she added wiggly eyes to her punched Owl Punch owl.  Shading with a sponge adds depth to his Oval Punch pumpkin costume, as well as the Spider Web Embossing Folder background.  I am so excited, I just got the Owl Punch and I can't wait to use it!
Happy early Halloween, everyone!

Halloween is on it's way!

Only a few days left to start on your Halloween cards, so here's a cute one for you.
This one came to me from Cindy Frey in a Halloween card swap...I just love the "shiny" look that the clear embossing powder gives the Haunted House...so spooky and fun!

Oh, I almost forgot, Flossie just did not care for that picture I posted of her a couple of days ago, so I took another one of her "holding" a swap giftie I received from our swap hostess, Michelle Kuhn.  It had some chocolate in it which sadly did not appeal to Flossie.  She would have preferred a nice fat mousie instead.  :)

Halloween Witches and a Black Cat

Here's a cute card I received in a swap.  Isn't this such a creative way to use this stamp set?  (Wicked Cool).
And since we're talking about witches (we were, weren't we?), I thought I'd share a picture of one of our kitties...just because she's so cute!
She's basking in the sun in this picture, thus the 'happy dazed' look, lol.  Her name is Flossie and she loves to purr.  :)

Happy Friday!

Halloween Cobwebs

Today I have a fun Halloween card that I made for a swap.  I just love the Spider Web Embossing Folder!  I used Concord Crush for the background and sponging and Pumpkin Pie and Lucky Limeade for the base.  I sponged around my 'spider' in Lucky Limeade as well.
I used just one strand of Baker's Twine for my 'web.'  Happy Halloween!

A Lil' Halloween Gal

Well, I guess this is the start of Fall.  I've been hanging on to Spring and the last bits of warm sun by posting Summer cards, but I'm afraid it's a losing battle, lol.  Today is crisp and misty.  That's OK, though, because it means I can start planning for the Fall holidays.

Here is an adorable card made by a fellow swapper that uses a stamp set I just love...Greeting Card Kids.  Isn't she adorable?

Now that I've admitted it's Fall, I'm started to get excited about it!  I can't wait to go to the Pumpkin Patch like we do every year and pick out our pumpkins.  Speaking of pumpkins, I can almost taste my homemade pumpkin pie...

Stop on by and check out these and more at super prices.  :)

So, today I wanted to share a card I made at a Stamp Camp using Glossy Paper.  I just love how brilliant the colors show up on this shiny paper.  The sun is simply a punched circle and the flowers are stamped twice, then cut out and popped up on dimensionals.  The background is sponged in blue.

This card uses a fun technique called two-step stamping, where you stamp the background of the image first, in this case solid pink, then again with another stamp showing more detail using a darker pink.  Fun!
