Friendship

This is the last of my Summer cards.  I made this for a "friendship" swap.  I thought the chair looked cute in purple!  I colored it with colored pencils and embellished with the cute ruffled ribbon in Wisteria Wonder.  Love those new In-Colors!

Life is a Bowl of Cherries...

Well, apparently I got a bit behind in posting my Summer cards after my Dad passed away, so here are a couple that use a DSP that I really love...the Domestic Goddess DSP, LOL, what a name!  The stamp set is the Cherish Friendship set, which is so good for coloring, which I love to do.  Aren't these colors pretty?  This paper coordinates with the new In Colors...Pool Party, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight.  Fun!

This second card is the same, but with another set of papers from the 'Domestic Goddess' Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack.  Isn't the new Ruffled Ribbon pretty?

I used my Stampin' Markers to color my bowl of cherries (notice I changed the color of the bowl?)  I embossed the background with my Perfect Polka Dots Embossing folder.  I think embossing really adds to the feel of the card...I'm into texture!  :)

I like these cards because I can use them for most any occasion...versatile and cheery!

Christmas Stocking fun!

Here is the last card I made for the Hive Happening swaps.  It was for the Christmas Swap.  I love this card!  I used the adorable new Stitched Stockings stamp set from the new Holiday Mini Catalog and punched them out with the new Stocking Punch...so easy!  I used the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder for the Lucky Limeade background.  I raised the stockings up with Dimensionals and for a final touch, added some of the new Very Vanilla Stitched Velvet Ribbon...mmmmm, I love how soft it is!

Hope you're all enjoying the last bits of summer...we sure are.  I'm not looking forward to our busy schedules, but it will be nice to be back on a schedule again.  Wishing you all sunny days!
